Physician Services
MEDICAL DIRECTOR / Apply
Full time position. Serves as medical resource for the interdisciplinary teams, visits home patients, participates in admissions and recertification process and supervises medical staff, ensuring 24 hour coverage.
Requirements: Current license or eligibility to practice in the State of Maryland, board certification in related specialty, board certification in hospice and palliative medicine preferred; knowledgeable about the psychosocial and medical aspects of hospice care.
Nursing Services
TEAM MANAGER / Apply
New team being formed. Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the delivery of patient care by the clinical team is coordinated, delivered and managed to meet standards of practice, regulatory requirements and agency policies and practices.
Requirements: Current licensure as RN in State of Maryland, minimum of five years hospice nursing experience required. CHPN, management experience required. Must have knowledge of state, Federal and regulatory standards and clinical expertise, particularly in physical assessment and pain control and symptom management.
CASE MANAGER / Apply
Assessment and full range of primary nursing services for assigned patients. Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm schedule.
Requirements: Current licensure as a RN in State of Maryland, minimum of two years recent clinical experience. Hospice/home care experience preferred.
INPATIENT NURSE / Apply
Provides full range of primary nursing services for Casey House patients. Schedule: Weekend days, Saturday and Sunday, 7a-7p. Paid 30 hours, eligible for benefits, including health, dental and disability.
Requirements: Current licensure as a RN in State of Maryland, minimum of two years recent clinical experience. Critical care and/or hospice experience preferred.
Counseling Services
BEREAVEMENT COUNSELOR / Apply
Responsible for providing individual follow-up with grieving families; planning and facilitating grief workshops and support groups; and providing bereavement programs to hospice staff and the community.
Requirements: Master's in related field and minimum two years experience, working with bereaved populations. Individual and group counseling experience required.
SOCIAL WORKER / Apply
Provides a full range of social services to patients and families at Casey House. Responsibilities include discharge planning, providing emotional support, crisis intervention and assistance to patients and families. Schedule includes 8 hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Work 24 hours, paid for 30 hours plus weekend differential. Eligible for full benefits.
Requirements: Master's in Social Work. Licensed in Maryland, LCSW-C with minimum of two years working with patients and families dealing with life-threatening illness.
Administrative Services
DONOR RESEARCH ASSISTANT / Apply
Responsible for research and support for gift solicitation and cultivation program. Conduct research via Internet and other sources; analyze data collection; create profile reports; and assist with production of basic collateral materials. Full time position, Monday-Friday with flexibility to assist with fundraising events.
Requirements: Minimum of three years as a research assistant or similar position. Prior fundraising experience preferred. Must demonstrate proficiency with Internet research, Microsoft Office programs and database programs. Experience with Raiser's Edge as well as In Design preferred.
