Casey House

Casey House is the only all-hospice, inpatient medical facility in Montgomery County.

A vital question determines eligibility: Can this patient's needs by met at home, including at an extended care facility? If not, Casey House is appropriate.

Casey House is unique in our area for offering:

• 14 all-private rooms
• daily visits from a Montgomery Hospice physician
• Medicare, Medicaid certification; JCAHO accreditation
• full services of the Montgomery Hospice interdisciplinary team, including grief counselors, chaplains and trained volunteers

Casey House is mainly a safety net for Hospice at Home patients who need to be near hospice professionals to resolve a brief crisis.

Medicaid, most private insurance and the Medicare Hospice Benefit prescribes two levels of care at Casey House: General (Acute) Inpatient and Respite. Self-pay Residential care is for patients who wish to reside at Casey House indefinitely.
