Bereavement Care Support Programs

The Bereavement programs are open to all who live and work in Montgomery County. All the programs are free, except for the Six-week Support Groups. For these groups, there is a $25 non-refundable registration fee for community persons (who are not Montgomery Hospice family members.) Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so call and register early.

Six-week Support Groups - Spring

  • Afternoon Grief Support Group
    For anyone grieving the death of a loved one.
    • Tuesdays from 1:00-2:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, March 16, 2010 for six weeks.

  • Parent Loss Support Group
    For adults who have experienced the death of one or both parents.
    • Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m. beginning Wednesday, March 24, 2010 for six weeks.

  • Evening Grief Support Group
    For anyone grieving the death of a loved one.
    • Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m. beginning Thursday, March 25, 2010 for six weeks.

  • Loss of a Child Support Group
    For parents grieving the death of a child of any age.
    • Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. beginning Thursday, Wednesday, March 24, 2010 for six weeks.
